Okinawa Travel (6 days)

FLIGHT - Hong Kong Airlines (web booking), the travel time is around 2 hours to 2.5 hours; has flight on every day. Check the schedule because the flight is departure on the morning and arrive at night for some weekdays.

HOTEL - Naha Toyoko Inn Omoromachi Ekimae
Hotel is near to the Omoromachi Eki. Only 2 mins - 5 mins walk.
Nearby shops are:
1.Duty Free shops - Opposite to the hotel is DFS Gallery (Duty Free Shops). Famous brand names like Tiffany,LV, Prada, Marc Jacob, Bally, Coach, Chloe, Cartier etc.
2.Naha Main Place (9am to 10pm)- Large Department Store with 2 floors. Shops like Afternoon Tea, Natural Couture - Nice Claup, Ray Cassin, Lowrys Farm, Jeansis, A.V.V., M.K., AMOs, Sanrio, supermarket, souvenir shops and restaurants. Outside has starbuck.
Supermarket open from 9:00am - 12:00am
3.Tsutaya - 24 hours bookshop. 2 floors. The 1st floor has magazines, books and stationary. 2nd floor is CD and VCD. Many Japanese magazines are sold with free gifts like shopping bags or cosmetic bags. Limited edition Marc Jacob book is sold.
4.Book-off (open for 24 hours)
5. 100 yen shop (include tax) with　くすり (with 100 daily items and food); has Japanese congee, seaweed, and "Curry house" pack (咖哩屋)etc

TRANSPORTATION
Monorail - walk for 5 to 10 mins from Naha international airport to Naha domestic airport and then you can go to the Omoromachi by Monorail. Cost 260yen. The travel time is around 19 mins. Single trip from Naha Kuko Station 那霸空港駅 to Omoromachi station only cost 260yen
Bus - Bus stop located at Asahibashi Station 旭橋駅

Travel tips:
1. shopping at some shops in Duty Free need to pay first and then get the item at the airport Duty free international pick up area(after immigration). Like Marc by Marc Jacob, prada and etc. Some shops like Gucci can get the items immediately.
2. goods sold at Main place supermarket is the cheapest. After 20:00, has discounted price for sashimi. Some Okinawa food (canned food or food pack) is sold at Main Place Supermarket.
3. Monorail - fare from 200 yen to 260 yen; 1 day pass is 600yen, 2 day pass 1000yen, and 3 day pass 1400yen; each station distance is not so far away, so no need to buy 3 day pass

1.1 Okinawa soba (instant noodle) - usually 5 pieces a pack; If today special price, cost 298yen.
1.2. 海葡萄 - Okinawa food and can buy at supermarket
1.3. Okinawa tea - canned tea cost 58yen; some are 20 pieces in a pack, like 香片/Jasmine

2. Clothing
2.1 if mid to late August, final clearance, most of the shops are more than 50% off
2.2 Causal brand outlet shop - Outlet-j (casual brand outlet shop) located in American Village; has converse t-shirt

2.3 Ashibina outlet - mainly foreign brands; quite old-fashioned and not cheap; for Marc Jacobs, there is one located at Duty Free Gallery, there is more variety and the price is cheaper

3. Oroku Station 小祿駅 - Jusco, uniqlo, Best - Outside the station
4. Makishi Station 牧志駅- Makishi Public Market (牧志公設市場), 國際通り, Mitsubishi, OPA, 市場通り，　平和通り
5. Kencho mae 県庁前駅- Ryubo Department Store (shops like Pop Pou Pou)
Transportation - Day 1 : Monorail 2 day pass - 1000 yen

Travel Tips:
1. Outlet : MUST go to the Information Counter to get the return ticket to airport
2. Opa : opposite to Mitsubishi; has ABC Mart, Swanky, and etc. (like Mongkok small shopping centre)
3. Makishi Public Market : walk along the street, you will see Mitsubishi on one side; and the opposite side is 市場通り, go to 市場通り and then you can access to Makishi Public Market; It has 2 floors; the ground floor sold fresh food and the 1st floor is the food court. The food court is closed at 20:00.
4. Ryubo Department Store : continue to walk along 國際通り, at the end of the street, there locate Ryubo Department Store and arrive Kencho mae. It lasts for around half an hour.
5. The open and close time of OPA, Ryubo and Mitsubishi like other cities of Japan. But the open and close time of Main Place is 9:00 - 24:00 for supermarket. And other shops are 9:00 - 22:00.

1. American Village 美國村 : go by Bus no. 28 and back by no. 28 or 120, travel time around 50 mins to 1 hours. No. 28 cost 710 and no. 120 is more expensive. It has the following shops:

Day 5
1. Okinawa South area : Sefa-utaki 齋場御嶽 (world heritage) - Bus stop at Asahibashi Station 旭橋駅 no. 38; 齋場御嶽前站, and then walk for 5 mins.; entrance fee 200yen
2. Fuzhou Garden 福州園 - Kencho mae 県庁前駅 walk for around 15 mins; NO entrance fee

Omoromachi - shopping : Supermarket and 100 yen shop
