Travel - Tokyo & Hokkaido - Itinerary 2007/02

ITINERARY
Day 1: Hong Kong -> Narita Airport (成田機場) --> Shinjuku (新宿)

Transportation : 京成特急<成田-日暮里>: $1000 yen，轉山手線<日暮里-新宿>: $160 yen

Sightseeing /Acitivites:
1. go to any Shinjuku Travel Service Center at a JR station to reserve seat
2. Shinjuku window shopping (department store, agnes b shop.... etc)

Day 2: Shinjuku (新宿) --> 南大沢 Fit House outlet --> Night Train (Tokyo 東京--> Hachinohe 八戶 --> Aomori 青森 --> Sapporo 札幌 )

Sightseeing / Activities:
1. 南大沢 Fit House outlet (Can skip this place - transporation is not convenient and other Tokyo outlets are bigger)

Day 3: Sapporo 札幌

Sightseeing / Activities:
1. Shopping area - Stellar Place, Esta, Apia.... http://www.stellarplace.net/
2. Hokkaido Ramen Hall (札幌拉麵橫丁共和國) - Esta nearby
3. Sapporo TV tower
4. Hokkaido Old Government Building (北海道廳舊本廳)
5. Hokkaido University
6. Sapporo Snow Festival大通公園雪祭 (nightview)

Day 4: Sapporo 札幌 --> Otaru 小樽--> Minami Otaru 南小樽 --> Sapporo 札幌

1. Otaru (小樽) 1 day trip (Otaru Canal, 萬花茼館, 地道商店街, 壽司通, 點燈雪道)

Hachinohe (八戸市) is a city located in Aomori Prefecture, Japan.
Karuizawa is a town located in Kitasaku District, Nagano, Japan. Karuizawa is known throughout Japan as a popular tourist spot. People from Tokyo will travel to Karuizawa to get away from the city. There is a Shinkansen station as well as a large outlet store shopping mall. It is also known for its historic shopping street known as "Ginza dōri" or "Kyū-dō" (Ginza Street, or the Old Road). Karuizawa hosted equestrian events in the 1964 Summer Olympics. The town also hosted curling in the 1998 Winter Olympics. To date, it is the only city in the world having hosted both Summer and Winter Olympic events.
